'Topiary' in a botanical sense is the art of clipping shrubs or trees into ornamental shapes. They take years of attention to train, prune and shape into a sculpture that excites you. Determination, creativity, patience and care will get you there, and the rewards will far outweigh the pain once you arrive.
Topiary is run in a similar way to the household of our ancestors 100 years ago. Only source locally, make everything from scratch, work with whole carcasses and waste nothing. Make the most of our surrounds without harming the environment and support those around you.
We aim to provide a unique dining experience, harnessing that same traditional mindset, but served in a contemporary way to reflect what is happening around us now.

Our sourdough baked daily, house-made cheeses or cured meats, local free range eggs, wood smoked bacon and prepared market fruits or vegetables are all part of our breakfast offering. Served with locally roasted coffee or Adelaide Hills sparkling wine.
Lunch + Dinner

Plant Based Dining
We now offer a full Plant Based tasting menu during lunch and dinner service. Focusing on a single fruit or vegetable per course, we aim to draw as much flavour and texture as possible from some of the most basic ingredients. We are currently taking breakfast and lunch bookings 7 days a week.
Breakfast -1 hour 20 minute breakfast sittings inside at either 9.00am or 10.30am, or outside at 9.30am or 11.00am
Lunch - tasting menu or choice menu option
Dinner - Our tasting menu is available on Saturday nights
